What is the cost for stunt driving?

FIRST OFFENCE

• 6 demerit points
• Jail up to 6 months
• Impounding of vehicle for 14 days (immediate)
• Min. $2,000 up to a max of $10,000 in addition 25% victim surcharge for the first time
• Suspended driver’s license upon conviction (1 to 3 years)

SECOND OFFENCE

• 6 demerit points
• Jail up to 6 months
• Impounding of vehicle for 14 days (immediate)
• Min. $2,000 up to a max of $10,000 in addition 25% victim surcharge for the first time
• Suspended driver’s license upon conviction up to 10 years.

 THIRD OFFENCE

• ALL THE ABOVE and..
• LIFETIME DRIVER’S SUSPENDED upon conviction.

In addition to the London traffic ticket offences (any 1 of 3 charges) will result with insurance rates being expensive and further the cost for 3 to 6 years will be more with High Risk insurance costing up to 500% more for up to 6 years.
